Artist from Haiti - Jean Idelus Edme
(1966 - ) Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti Mr. Edme is an artist who worked at the CentredArt for many years. He attended primary school at the National School of Thor in Carrefour, a suburb of Port-au-Prince. He then studied for one year at Lycee Firmin and two years at Charlemagne Peralte. His career began in 1982 when he began painting with Jean Pierre Vilme. In 1985 he began painting at the CentredArt and started to work there, rising to the position of Assistant to the Director. read more
