The two main separatorrings, short (blue) and tall (orange), are the heart of the new Composi-Tight®3D Fusion™ system. These are your “go-to” rings and will be used for themajority of restorations. The short ring is mainly used for bicuspids,premolars, pedo, malpositioned teeth; any tooth with a short crown. The tallring is used for typical molars, taller teeth, or stacking over blue for MODs.

The WidePrep ring greatly simplifies what until now has been one of the mostchallenging posterior composite restorations. Technique for Class II restorations utilizing Composi-Tight 3DFusion Soft Face Rings
1. Place rubberdam. Isolation of the area helps to prevent contamination from blood andsaliva. As with many dental procedures, aspiration of small parts is a validconcern.
2. PlaceFenderWedgepriorto preparation to pre-separate and protect the adjacent tooth. Prepare toothwith conservative Class II preparation. Once the preparation is complete,remove the FenderWedge and place your matrix.
