Set of 2 Rings

The two main separatorrings, short (blue) and tall (orange), are the heart of the new Composi-Tight®3D Fusion™ system. These are your “go-to” rings and will be used for themajority of restorations. The short ring is mainly used for bicuspids,premolars, pedo, malpositioned teeth; any tooth with a short crown. The tallring is used for typical molars, taller teeth, or stacking over blue for MODs.

The world’s first WidePreparation separator ring (green) makes Composi-Tight®3D Fusion™ themost versatile and user-friendly sectional matrix system available. The WidePrep ring greatly simplifies what until now has been one of the mostchallenging posterior composite restorations. Now you can restore extremelywide preps and missing cuspswith confidence knowing that you will achieveexcellent contact and contour without having to take extra steps.

Indications for Use :Class II procedure

Technique for Class II restorations utilizing Composi-Tight 3DFusion Soft Face Rings

1. Place rubberdam. Isolation of the area helps to prevent contamination from blood andsaliva. As with many dental procedures, aspiration of small parts is a validconcern.

2. PlaceFenderWedgepriorto preparation to pre-separate and protect the adjacent tooth. Prepare toothwith conservative Class II preparation. Once the preparation is complete,remove the FenderWedge and place your matrix.

3. PlaceComposi-Tight3D Fusion sectional matrix band. Select a matrix band that most closelyapproximates the occlusogingival height of the tooth. The Grab-Tab should beoriented toward the occlusal margin and may be bent over the adjacent toothafter placement

4. InsertComposi-Tight3D Fusion wedge. Keep a finger on the matrix band to prevent the wedge fromdislodging the band during insertion. Wedge firmly, a high viscosity resinpacked into the preparation may displace the band away from the tooth.

5. ApplytheComposi-Tight 3D Fusion Soft Face ring retainer. Select a retainerring that is appropriate for the embrasure and tooth being restored. Spread itwith the *Composi-Tight 3D Fusion Ring Placement forcepsand place it overthe wedge.

6. VeryImportant: push the matrix band firmly into contact with the adjacent tooth inthe desired contact area.

7. Use yourpreferred etching, disinfecting and bonding technique following manufacturer’sinstructions. Apply your preferred composite resin following manufacturer’sinstructions.

8. Remove thering, wedge and band.

9. Contour andpolish the restoration.
